WHAT: We will include discussing strategies for reaching
post-grads, sharing our experiences so far. See e.g. the position paper "Ministering to Postgrads in the UK", and a summary of a previous conference.
COST: Free :-)
ACCOMODATION: If you want to stay for Friday and/or Saturday night, please
let met me know and we can arrange something (please bring a sleeping
bag).

10:30  Bartow Wylie:  Short Bible Talk
Bartow has been working with Friends International in Cambridge for many years, and has extensive experience working with postgrads through CGS and the International Student Welcome programme.
10:45  Ard Louis:   Why a focussed postgraduate ministry?
Ard was once a postgrad, but now teaches at Cambridge U, and is on the council of reference for CGS . He helped organise the two previous postgrad ministry days with Bartow.
11:15  Coffee, Tea & discussion
11:45  Tim Brown:  Overview of postgrad trends and issues in the UK
Tim recently completed a PhD from the University of Surrey, and is now serving in his second term as general secretary of the National Postgrad Committee . While a postgrad, he helped start a postgraduate Christian group .
12:15   Models of ministry: local groups
Representatives of a number of existing postgraduate groups will explain what has worked/ not worked, what their vision is etc... Contact Ard if you would like to contribute.
